Mark Six Snowball hits $60m

A single winner of the Mark Six on Friday would receive at least $60 million to celebrate the Year of the Rooster.

The prize money in the Lunar New Year Snowball draw is the second-largest. In September 2003, a first-prize winner received $70.9 million. On September 14 last year, seven people shared a first-prize pool of $72 million.

Tickets are available from today at all off-course betting branches, Telebet, Interactive Services including Customer Input Terminal, Mobile Betting Service, Two Way Messenger, MangoSports and the Hong Kong Jockey Club's betting service 'eWin'.

The Jockey Club will extend the business hours of its off-course betting branches to 11.30pm today and tomorrow, and to 9pm on Friday. The result will be announced live on ATV Home Channel at 9.30pm.

There was no winner of last night's draw. The numbers were 9, 18, 23, 33, 44 and 49. The extra number was 29. Three people each won the second prize of $514,030.
