In fashion with high-speed movie action
Most fans who buy movie costumes at charity auctions probably never intend to actually wear the clothes - there aren't many social occasions calling for a Spiderman suit, after all. But with Seoul Raiders being the first Hong Kong film sponsored by Christian Dior, the black leather jacket of Tony Leung Chiu-wai (pictured centre), the khaki leather jacket of Richie Jen Hsien-chi (left) and the brown trenchcoat of Shu Qi (right) might just be spotted on the society circuit later this year. The outfits will be auctioned at tonight's gala premiere of the movie. Proceeds will be donated to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation. Fearing the audience might not fully appreciate the beauty of the clothes, what with all the movie's high-speed action, the organisers have included a fashion show before the premiere to display Dior's latest collection. At least we'll also get a performance from Denise Ho Wan-sze.
