Brazil will arrive in Hong Kong for next week's Carlsberg Cup on four separate flights with most of their European-based players jetting in on Monday.
Superstar players Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos are expected to arrive on an evening flight, a few hours after some of their teammates. The rest of the squad will arrive on two other flights on Tuesday.
ProEvents chairman Paul Kam said he was confident the remaining 17,000 tickets on offer would be sold.
'The public usually leaves it late when they buy tickets because they want to know which star players have arrived. Once the players are confirmed, there will be a surge of interest in the game again,' said Kam of the Wednesday match, the first day of the Lunar New Year.
Brazil are taking the Carlsberg Cup seriously and for the first time the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) president and vice-president are also Hong Kong-bound.
'They are treating this match as a Fifa A match and the players will get international caps. So it is not just a friendly match,' said ProEvents chief executive Julian Kam.
