THE American-made Excalibur, perhaps the most outrageous car in the world with its looks and unlikely speed, is coming to Hong Kong.
Pasha Holdings Ltd, an offshoot of the FEMS Group of companies, will distribute the car and offer a two-year warranty and back up.
It will introduce the Excalibur to Hong Kong at an exhibition at Garden Court in Pacific Place from November 12 to 14.
The Excalibur is a wild mixture of old style and modern convenience that Narender Veer Madnani, sales director of Pasha Holdings, described as ''a homage to an era of classic cars''.
''It is not an original (old) car, but an original concept: the old and the new combined into one,'' he said.
Mr Madnani is convinced there is a strong market in Hong Kong for the low-production car and expects a great deal of interest from wealthy motoring enthusiasts. Several cars are being brought out in the first shipment, and will be priced from $2 million to $3 million.
''There is no competition. This is a touring classic that you can use every day,'' he said.
