Goodbye Jimmy Choo by Annie Sanders Orion $96 Izzie and her husband, Marcus, have sold their house in Islington to buy a Victorian country cottage. Village life isn't turning out to be the dream Izzie had imagined, though. Her children's classmates all seem to be called Wayne or Kelly (unlike the Tobys and Tashas of north London), and their main entertainment is PlayStation2. Her twinset-wearing, Mercedes-driving neighbours turn their noses up at her and only invite her to parties because she's good at making cakes. Salvation arrives in the form of the Gucci-clad, Beemer-driving Maddy, another ex-Londoner who's also just moved to the village. They launch a natural cosmetics company from home. It's wildly successful, but then the media spotlight turns on them, and they have to give up all they hold dear to embrace a lifestyle they hate. But just how far are they prepared to go?
