Eye cream has long been considered an unnecessary addition to the bathroom shelf but nothing could be further from the truth. The skin around the eye area is extremely thin and more vulnerable to damage. Eye creams are designed to combat these problems by smoothing fine lines, minimising dark circles and reducing puffiness. We test six of the best.
1. Helena Rubinstein Prodigy Eyes Global Anti-Ageing Concentrate (15ml; $850). This cream claims to work on five under-eye problems, including cellular renewal, draining
and decongesting.
2. Lancome Resolution Yeux Intensive Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment (15ml; $370). This emollient cream contains D-Contraxol, an exclusive ingredient that promises to smooth deep wrinkles.
3. Dior Prestige Revitalising Eye Cream (15ml; $595). A fast-penetrating cream that includes kniphofia nectar, soothing plant peptides and decongesting Terminalia sericea.
4. The Body Shop Moisture White Eye Serum (15ml; $258). This light eye serum contains liquorice extract and Vitamin C.
