A MAN facing drugs charges in the United States agreed yesterday to return voluntarily, Eastern Court heard. Robert Yuen Chi-ming, also known as Wu Long, 46, is wanted to stand trial in New York, where he is alleged to have conspired to import not less than 4.2 kilograms of No 4 heroin into the country. He is also charged with one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute the heroin. Senior Crown Counsel Bruce McNair said Yuen was arrested in Hong Kong on March 4. Yuen's bail application was refused by Mr Justice Keith in the High Court on April 4 and he has been detained since then. Magistrate Michael Hill remanded him in custody until he can be handed over to the authorities to be escorted to the US.
