Former Catholic priest Frank Dempsey has given up his vocation for the joys of marriage to the beautiful Sarah. Because he's now out of a job, he plans to write an autobiography, To Be Frank. But Dempsey quickly realises he lacks writing skills. Despite his intelligence and charisma, he has no talent for anything other than being a 'really nice bloke'.
