Updated at 1.53pm: Hong Kong?s action film star Jackie Chan has put his luxury mansion in the United States on the market as a sign to change his base back to China, according to news reports on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Times quoted a friend of Chan?s as saying he has put his Beverly Hills home on the market for US$6.7 million (HK$52 million).
The famous Los Angeles town has traditionally attracted Hollywood stars and other celebrities.
The newspaper noted that Chan had bought a ?French-style? mansion in Beverly Hills in 1998. It said he usually spent about four to six weeks a year in the Los Angeles area. But Chan?s wife Joanne and their 22-year-old son, singer-actor Jaycee rarely came to visit, the paper said.
The mansion, which was built in 1986, has five bedrooms and 5? bathrooms and covers slightly more than 7,600 square feet.
