More than $270,000 have been granted to 10 secondary schools to carry out community-based stress-management programmes.
The shortlisted schools are: CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School, TWGHs CY Ma Memorial College, Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Yuen Long), Diocesan Girls' School (DGS), HKTA Lee Heng Kwei Secondary School, St Catharine's School for Girls (Kwun Tong), Pui Ying Secondary School, TWGHs Mr & Mrs Kwong Sik Kwan College, YCH Wong Wha San Secondary School and Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School.
They will be sponsored by the Brand's Health Education Fund (BHEF) under the Brand's Health Campaign.
Under the theme of 'Balance of Body & Mind, with 100% Fun Stress Management', the campaign encourages students to apply their creativity to traditional stress-relief methods to raise public awareness of the issue.
Most of the 10 projects selected this year will focus on anti-stress messages, with a few of them aimed at particular age groups. Students from Lau Wing Sang will organise activities including wall painting and distribution of 'Fun Fun' anti-stress cards for young people in the Island East district.
DGS will target the elderly with a relaxing walk on the Peak, a magic show and stretching exercises on the agenda.
