Jewellery merchandiser faces 34 fraud charges
Jewellery merchandiser Wong Wai-shun, 47, faced 34 fraud charges in Eastern Court for falsely representing himself to various jewellery wholesalers in making purchases of gemstones worth about $5.53 million between June 2002 and May 2003. No plea was taken and the case was listed for mention on March 18.
