Feeding frenzy

If you're planning a trip Down Under next month, you might want to check out the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, which takes place from March 11-23. Food lovers are especially excited about the 'passion, curiosity, appetite, love' lunches with bad boy chef Anthony Bourdain - tickets sold out as soon as they went on sale on February 15. Other events include wine master classes; the world's longest lunch; 'double acts' of chefs demonstrating their cooking: pairings include chocolatier Max Brenner and pastry chef Philippa Sibley, and Rockpool (in Sydney) chef Neil Perry working with Shannon Bennett from Vue de Monde; and a hawkers' market of stalls cooking Asian street foods.
