While most people paid attention to who won what in yesterday's Oscars, CitySeen kept an eye on Zhang Ziyi - Hollywood's favourite import from the mainland - who was presenting the award for Best Visual Effects with the new It-Boy, Jake Gyllenhaal. People following Zhang's career might know that she started English lessons not long ago for her career in Hollywood - particularly for the coming Steven Spielberg movie Memoirs of a Geisha. So how did she feel about her second Oscars appearance, which required her to use the language she has just learned? 'I feel more confident this time as I can speak a bit of English,' she told Cable TV's Entertainment News Network on the red carpet. And what did the It Girl wear on the most glamorous night in Hollywood? Zhang wore a black Chantilly lace gown with tulle skirt by designer Monique Lhuillier and a Bvlgari necklace. Since black is the new black for the stars on the red carpet this year (check out Scarlett Johansson and Beyonce Knowles), it seems like Zhang has made a step forward in adapting to the Tinseltown community.
