Teen admits sex with girl under 13

A teenager wept in court yesterday after admitting he had unprotected sex with a girl under 13 who later became pregnant.

Mainland-born Ng Wai-pan, 16, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse.

The District Court heard he began dating the girl, a schoolmate, in February last year and on February 9 they went for supper at his home, where she met his family.

She stayed the night and they had sex three times in Ng's bed, the court was told.

The girl left the next morning and went shopping. Three days later, Ng took her home again and she agreed to stay.

But her father, suspicious after the first time she spent the night away, arrived at the boyfriend's flat and ordered her to go home. He also forbid the pair from seeing each other again.
