Everyone makes  mistakes. Forgive her for her mistakes but remind her not to  make the same one again. An understanding and forgiving friendship can last longer than you expect.

You also need to give support to your loved ones  by helping  them. To  maintain a good relationship, you need to understand each other well.

I'm tempted to follow the 'world peace' beauty pageant trend and say honesty, but I won't. I think communication (partially because it involves honesty, but that's not the point). Without communication,  a relationship won't benefit both members. It also helps keep the bond between people strong as you get to know them better each time you speak to them, which, if it didn't happen, would cause any type of relationship to collapse.

The secret to a good relationship with a friend or girlfriend is trust, and endless support as well. A friend once told me, 'It takes two years to gain trust but two seconds to lose .' I didn't believe him at first, but I have realised he wasn't exaggerating. A relationship based on shallow things like money would be fake and will not last.
