Bally is going back to its roots. Since the early 20th century, the company has been kitting out adventure-seekers for walks on the moon and expeditions to Everest and the Swiss Alps. This season, they pay tribute to their heritage by borrowing elements from Nasa's space programme uniforms, creating a fashionable yet hi-tech collection for their men's accessory and clothing lines. Materials are fashioned through new construction techniques that use natural processes, which are environmentally friendly and comfortable. Moonwalkers will love the new Bally driver shoe ($2,290) with its narrow front and squared-off toe. It comes in bright yellow suede (above) for that galactic experience. Available at Bally boutiques, including shop 350, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2522 6123.
