Maybe it was the influence of tomorrow's Women's Day, but at a press conference yesterday promoting her new martial arts film House of Fury, Charlene Choi Tsoek-jin chose to take up the issue of breasts and bras.
'Why can't I be [flat-chested]?' asked the 22-year-old half of pop group Twins. She has frequently been reported in local papers as having a smaller bust measurement than her singer partner, Gillian Chung Yan-tung.
'Look at some of the stars at the Oscars the other night. They're flat-chested but they all look so cool in their gowns.'
And she did not stop there. Choi admitted how embarrassed she was when shopping for underwear. 'I was at this underwear shop and I was so scared suddenly because I found the whole shop was surrounded by clear glass only,' she said. 'What if someone saw me from the outside? What if there were pinhole cameras in the changing room?'
So here's a tip to Choi's fans: You'll have a better chance of sighting your idol if you manage to find an underwear shop in town that doesn't have glass at the front.
