MORE than 200 pages of evidence against the alleged head of the Fuk Ching triad gang, Kwok Ling-kay, has been handed over to his lawyer here, Eastern Court was told yesterday. Kwok, 31, who is wanted in the United States in connection with murder charges following a triad dispute in New York's Chinatown this year, was making his third appearance before Magistrate Michael Hill. His lawyer, Dixon Tang, asked for time to go through the papers. Mr Hill adjourned the hearing until next Wednesday when a date for the extradition proceedings will be fixed. Another alleged member of the Fuk Ching gang, Li Xing-hua, 21, also made another appearance. Both men were remanded in jail custody. Kwok faces 14 charges including murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to murder, kidnapping and wounding, while Li faces eight charges including wounding and kidnapping.
