Takuya Yamane is the second Hong Kong schoolboy from the local Manchester United Soccer School to win a free trip to England and a place in the English Premiership club's 2005 Grand Skills Final in Manchester.
Takuya, nine, was named winner in the eight- to 11-year-old category.
He will be joining Tam Lok-hin (the winner of the 12- to 15-year age group) on the journey which will test their skills against top young players from other Manchester United Soccer Schools around the world.
Both will be accompanied by a parent and will have the chance to attend a Manchester United game at Old Trafford. The trip will be sponsored by Cathay Pacific.
The date of the finals has not yet been confirmed.
Takuya and Lok-hin were ranked number one in their respective age groups from more than 600 young players who took part in the football programme. Marks were given for short and lofted passing, dribbling, ball-control and shooting.
