Counting just the acts coming to town in the first three months of 2005, it is already a good year for music fans. And it's going to get better; famed tenor Luciano Pavarotti and the Bee Gees' Robin Gibb will be here for concerts later this year. Pavarotti, the best known of the Three Tenors, will perform at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on December 2 as part of his farewell tour. The opera legend will kick off his final world tour in October as he heads towards 70.
He wants to teach music and spend more time with his family.
Robin Gibb will perform on June 11. He has been touring Europe to pay tribute to twin brother Maurice, who died in 2003 aged 53, by playing timeless hits including Stayin' Alive and How Deep Is Your Love. Robin will perform with a full band and a 30-piece orchestra.
