Dear Mrs Wu, we're really sorry you had to learn about it here and we sincerely hope you won't ground Daniel. After all, he kept it from you all these years only because he didn't want you to worry. All right, we'll just say it. Actor Daniel Wu Yin-cho's dark secret, which he hid from his mother for years, is that he once broke his nose while boxing in college. 'I heard a crack when the guy hit my nose so I knew it was broken,' he told CitySeen yesterday. 'But I didn't go to the doctor because then my mother would have known about it and barred me from boxing.' Luckily, he didn't see his mother until the school break, which was a few months later, and his nose had healed by then. 'I never told my mother about it. But she'll know [today] when she reads the papers. But maybe because I didn't get any treatment, my nose is a bit tilted now. And I can move the bone whichever way I want to now,' he said, moving his nose sideways.
