JUST when you thought it was safe to go out into the water again without being seduced by mermaids we came across an enticing scene at the swimming pool of the Regent.
The occasion was a photo-shoot for the swimwear edition of US mag Sports Illustrated - an issue that is published each February and has achieved universal cult status not least because of the stunning models (think catwalk girls Elle ''The Body'' Macpherson and Cindy Crawford).
This year the swimwear was located by swimming pools in exotic locations around the world, the pool of the Regent with the backcloth of Victoria Harbour being deemed one such place.
So we had this scenario of the model pouting suitably while the photographer played around with his telefocus and Keeping Posted got in a quick flash - with an Instamatic, we hasten to add.
