Xbox game for Hello Kitty fans

A new Xbox game featuring Hello Kitty and friends will be launched on April 1, in line with the 30th birthday of the popular cartoon cat.

The three-dimensional game, Hello Kitty - Mission Rescue, is about how Hello Kitty protects Sanrio Town, which is threatened by the Bloc Troop - the evil force from outer space.

The game also features Hello Kitty's sister Mimmy and her friends Bad Badtz Maru and Kero Kero Keroppi.

The gamers play as Hello Kitty and can choose their favourite partner.

They have to overcome a series of challenges and fight against hidden characters.

After a mission is accomplished, the player will be awarded a new Hello Kitty costume and a new set of weapons.
