Priced from $6,999, the machine is light on the wallet and made for users who primarily want to access the internet, write e-mail or work with personal productivity software programs. It can be configured with either Intel's Celeron M 350 (1.3 gigahertz), 360 (1.4GHz) or Pentium M 725 (1.6GHz) processors. The notebook features the Intel 910GML chipset with the integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900, giving a range of power and graphics performance for practical functions. There is a choice of 14.1-inch or 15-inch colour displays, and hard drives at 30, 40 or 60 gigabytes. Starting at 2.73kg, the Inspiron 2200 can be used in the classroom, office or living room while staying connected to wireless internet hot spots through its integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 802.11b/g Mini-PCI wireless card.
