Claiming the top prize in the youth category this year is 15-year-old Lau Pok-yin, a fourth former from Aberdeen Technical School. His documentary Under The Sun is a humorous account of his school's participation in a solar cart race.

The result came as a surprise to Pok-yin, who admitted he originally prepared another work for the competition.

'A thief stole the computer that contained my original work. Because there was little time to prepare another video, we decided to submit the commemorative work shot by me and other students of the school's science and technology club for the competition,' he explained.

'The video illustrates our club's team spirit. The award belongs to all club members.'

Winning the Silver Award and Special Mention Award of the youth category is Lou Yee-nam from Buddhist Mau Fung Memorial College. His work Until I Die, which looks at the popularity of internet cafes, fell into Category Three of the classification system because of obscene language recorded in the documentary.
