It was part fashion show, part cocktail party but pure Celine this month when the label celebrated its spring/summer 2005 collection with a reception at its lavish Landmark boutique.
Taking over part of the Landmark atrium, Celine created a space outside its store where models sashayed in the latest fashions and guests enjoyed the show while sipping cocktails and snacking on canapes.
There was plenty to look at inside as well. Celine's two-storey store flung open its doors and fashion lovers poured in to check out the new line by Celine's recently installed creative director Roberto Menichetti.
Jean-Marc Loubier, president and chief executive of Celine, and Jean Lahirle, managing director of Celine Asia Pacific, played host.
The arrival of Canto-pop diva Faye Wong caused a stir among the paparazzi and some guests.
Also at the reception were Maggie Q, Gaile Lai, Bonnie Gokson, Audrey Ai and Helen Rong.
