THE Yan Chai Hospital Lim Por Yen Secondary School swimming meet this year saw a record number of participants.

The spirit of sportsmanship and keen competition stood out and this saw a few records broken at the Kwai Shing Swimming Pool.

The 4 x 50 m invitation relays and teacher-students mixed relay were exciting. The winner in the boys' event was Ju Ching Chu English College (Tsuen Wan) while Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School took the gold in the girls' race.

The school team also did well at the Tsuen Wan and Outlying Islands Secondary Schools championships a few days after their meet.
