Stylish addition to jean pool

Denim enthusiasts were delighted when the first Evisu store in Hong Kong opened at the IFC Mall.

About 280 guests and VIP customers turned up to admire the store. An outside area was appropriated for a catwalk for a fashion show, which was the highlight of the evening. The glittering red runway contrasted sharply with the black and white backdrop with Evisu logos.

There was something for guests of both genders as the label showed off its men's and women's spring/summer 2005 collection, with 10 models parading 35 outfits.

There was a casual, collegial atmosphere as the guests sipped champagne, nibbled on delicious canapes and, of course, took the opportunity to shop.

Among those enjoying Evisu's interpretation of denim were Matthew Hood, Saloni Lohda, Josh Green, Andrew and Eva Loiterton and Aki Yamane.
