CANTO-THEATRE

Canto-pop idol Yan Ng and male duo Bliss will star in a theatre performance called May Your Wish Come True.

They will express their feelings about living in this modern city through story telling, dance and songs.

The performance will be staged from Wednesday to Sunday at 8pm with a matinee on Saturday at 3pm in the Drama Theatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).

Tickets cost $240 and $200 and are available from HK Ticketing on 31 288 288.

CANTONESE MUSICAL

The drama students of the HKAPA will stage the Cantonese version of The Fantasticks, the longest-running musical in the world.

With music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, the musical features some of the most memorable songs such as Try to Remember and Never Say No.

The musical depicts the love and pitfalls of adolescence. It tells the story of a boy, a girl and their fathers, who plot to get them together by keeping them apart.

The Fantasticks will be staged from today to Saturday at 7.45pm, with a matinee on the last day at 2.45pm.

Tickets priced at $90 (adults) and $45 (students) are available from HK Ticketing.
