The 100m Hong Kong record holder Chiang Wai-hung seems to have met his match this season. He again lost to his younger rival, Yik-chun, just as he did in the first round in February.

Yik-chun, an 18-year-old student at Shun Tak Fraternal Association Yung Yau College, clocked 10.51 seconds in the final, edging Chiang (10.59 seconds) into second place. Wong Ka-chun was third on 10.61 seconds.
