Are diamonds forever for S?

Could we be hearing wedding bells soon for American-Chinese heartthrob Daniel Wu Yin-cho and his girlfriend, model Lisa S?

At a recent jewellery function, S hinted that she would marry any guy who gave her a million-dollar, 120-carat diamond ring for her birthday next month.

The 30-year-old actor has yet to respond. But given his usual preference for charming Eurasian models (he once had a fling with Maggie Q), his options are limited in Hong Kong.

He has denied ever dating model Amanda Strang, as reported in this newspaper's fashion supplement Style.

But Wu might find it difficult to tie the knot this year.

He has paired up with Miriam Yeung Chin-wah again for Derek Yee Tung-sing's new film Thousand Cups, [but] Not Drunk (a literal translation: the English title is not yet decided), when shooting starts next week. The new flick is a romantic comedy about a man who cannot hold his drink (Wu) and a girl who has no reaction to alcohol, played by Yeung.
