Men clad in gleaming satin shirts and high-waisted flared pants and women in halter tops, short spandex dresses and glittering high-heel sandals would dance the night away under the disco ball's spinning lights to a soundtrack of syncopated beats and catchy melodies. It was a decade designed to strut your stuff. No surprise, then, that it should be so fondly remembered. And lovingly revived.
