An exhibition featuring ceramics works by pottery teachers will be held next month to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pottery Workshop.
The works range from throwing to hand-building. They include Queenie Leung's elegant Sung style pottery, Caroline Cheng's humorous Mao figures, Sunny Wong's slash-on throwing, Fiona Wong's translucent wall hanging and Yeung Yuk-kwan's poetic drawing on porcelain vessel.
Since the opening in 1985, wheel-thrown pottery and studio pottery have been the focus of the workshop.

But nowadays, hand-building work is as important.
The exhibition will run from May 19 to June 6 at the Pottery Workshop Gallery, 2 Lower Albert Road, Central (behind The Fringe Club). Opening hours are 11am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday. Visit www.ceramics.com.hk for more details.
