Firstone's net jumps 21pc

FIRSTONE International Holdings has reported attributable profit of $14.69 million for the six months ended June 30, an increase of 21.5 per cent from the period last year.

This represents earnings per share of 6.4 cents and an interim dividend of one cent a share was recommended.

The largest growth in sales, in percentage terms, was for electrolytic capacitors.
