KUI Tan captain Billy Bone will be trying to prove a point in tonight's Emperor Exchange Challenge Shield first-round tie against his former club, Sing Tao, at Mongkok Stadium. Bone, 22, joined Sing Tao midway through last season and thought he had played well enough to earn a contract for this campaign. When he was not retained, Kui Tan stepped in - and made him skipper. Bone has helped Kui Tan take seven points from their first four league games and has scored one of the goals of the season with his spectacular long-range drive in a 1-1 draw against South China. Kui Tan striker John Bottomley will be leaving the club at the end of the week. Sing Tao, Shield winners two years ago, will give a debut to former Happy Valley midfielder David Clarkson. Skipper John Moore is still injured and has been de-registered.
