Travel Cannes be such a bother

When you or I go on a trip, we book our tickets and hotel, pack, and make sure we arrive at the airport on time. But for celebs, travel is much more of an ordeal as singer Cecilia Cheung Pak-chi has shown.

Cheung is now in Cannes for the world premiere of her film The Promise - directed by famous mainland director Chen Kaige.

She was seen at Chek Lap Kok on Monday night when she checked in with not one, not two, but six pieces of luggage.

'I have one [piece of luggage] for heels only, one for hats, and about 70 scarves with me,' she said.

'And of course I'm taking a lot of clothes, two gowns for the premiere, cameras and stuff.'

Cheung was just as cautious in her preparations. Before packing, she actually asked her assistant to call Nicholas Tse Ting-fung - her co-star who is also her ex - to find out the colour of the outfits he would be wearing in Cannes.
