ROYAL BRUNEI Airlines has installed fully reclining seats and a new personal in-flight entertainment system in its B767 business class, in keeping with a trend among international carriers to offer the flattest beds and cosiest services in the sky.

The SkyDreamer seats extend to nearly two metres when fully reclined. They are fitted with pods and pull-up screens for privacy and in-seat power connectors for plugging in laptops.

Each business and economy class seat is fitted with a personal TV for accessing SkyShow, which provides games, 17 on-demand movies, nearly 100 CDs and 13 audio channels.

RBA also offers a 'food fit to fly by' in-flight menu, featuring lighter and healthier meals. Meat provided on board is strictly halal.

And don't ask for alcohol because, as the national carrier of an orthodox Islamic state, the airline does not provide it. Its frequent flier programme, Royal Skies, is said to be simple and generous.

Members can earn actual miles on every RBA flight and from partner outlets, including hotels, restaurants, golf clubs, car rental companies and department stores in Brunei and overseas. Passengers can start redeeming round-trip flights with 15,000 points.
