While the government has spent lots of money promoting community hygiene, singer-actress Cecilia Cheung Pak-chi (below) is reported to have left a pile of rubbish after a barbeque party. According to the latest issue of Oriental Sunday, Cheung was spotted having a barbeque birthday party with friends and family in Sai Kung last Thursday night. The slim movie star did not eat much and most of time she just talked on the phone or smoked next to her father. When it suddenly started pouring, the party-goers rushed to nearby bus-stops or back to their cars, leaving the food and drinks behind. The magazine estimates that if each piece of rubbish was fined $1,500, Cheung and her friends should face a total bill of $100,000! Rumours have been circulating about up-and-coming singer Fiona Sit Hoi-kei's 'close relationship' with her manager Carmen. Oriental Sunday spotted the pair shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui last Saturday. Sometimes arm-in-arm, they spent two hours browsing boutiques and having coffee. Just last year it was Carmen who clarified on behalf of the music company that Fiona did not have a 'too-close' female friend. But it looks as if those rumours are flying about again. Miss Hong Kong Kate Tsui Tsz-shan (below) is said to have dumped her boyfriend for acting and singing star Leon Lai Ming. Tsui, 26, had been dating drama actor and stage production manager Bee Wan Tik-lun before she took part in the beauty pageant. But things started to change after she interviewed Lai on a TV show. As Next magazine reported, Lai was particularly nice to Tsui and even recommended her for his latest TV commercial. During filming in Japan last month, Lai was seen inviting Tsui to ride in his van every day, while his assistant travelled in another vehicle. Tsui was also said to have taken every chance she had to talk and joke with him. Model-turned-singer Tiffany Lee Lung-yee (above right) had been turning down job offers so that she could spend more time with her beau, web designer Chris Kong. As the spokesperson for a slimming centre, she had infuriated the owner Shirley Cheung Yuk-shan when she refused to finish her slimming course and put on weight. Next magazine reports that 22-year-old Lee has been dumped by Kong and, because she has been out of work for a while, Cheung refused to give her job back. Lien Sheng-wen has been named one of the four most sought-after bachelors in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and is known for his extravagant partying. When he was visiting China with his father recently, he was spotted with pop star Jay Chou Jie-lun's news anchor girlfriend Patty Hou. According to Eastweek magazine, Lien Sheng-wen had dinner with about eight people, including Lau, at an upmarket Chinese restaurant in Causeway Bay famous for its braised abalone. There's speculation that Lau, the longtime girlfriend of Tony Leung Chiu-wai, is his new interest.
