A government organisation is looking for a senior research officer (culture and heritage) to join its team for a period of 12 months.
The non-civil service vacancy is in the culture and sport division of the Home Affairs Bureau, Government Secretariat, Hong Kong.
The chosen candidate will conduct research into culture and heritage and co-ordinate work in culture, art and heritage conservation and cultural property with mainland and international bodies.
Other duties for the candidate include assisting in the planning and organisation of large-scale cultural, art and heritage programmes and activities.
Heritage conservation, including tangible and intangible cultural heritage, will form a major part of the work.
The candidate should have a Hong Kong bachelor's or master's degree in history, the humanities, Chinese studies or equivalent.
