WD-40: just what you need to fix up that flat...

WD-40, the anti-rust spray, is, as far as I am concerned, one of the great inventions of mankind after the wheel and the computer.

So the Housing Society earns kudos in my book for handing out samples of the spray at this week's opening of a resource centre to launch a campaign to get flat owners to keep up proper maintenance of their properties.

Let's just hope it's no reflection on the quality of flats that their builder has to hand out the home maintenance tool to help repair defects.
