Motorcyclist and his passenger are killed A 22-year-old rider and his 19-year-old woman pillion passenger were killed yesterday when their motorcycle crashed into a road divider on Tuen Mun Road, near Siu Lam. The crash happened at 6.30am when the rider lost control of his bike. The pair were taken to Tuen Mun Hospital, where they were declared dead. Police have appealed for witnesses to call 2611 3200 or 2611 3320. In a separate incident, two security guards were slightly injured when an armoured car crashed into the back of a truck near Un Chau Street Estate in Shamshuipo at 1.15pm. Police guarded the armoured car until the cash it was carrying was transferred to another vehicle. The two drivers passed breathalyser tests. Sick Workers collapse and die at work Two men died at work in two separate incidents. A 34-year-old worker, who was suffering from flu, collapsed at a Tsuen Wan restaurant at about 1am and was declared dead at the scene by emergency workers. Shortly after noon, a middle-aged office worker with a chronic illness, who had complained of feeling dizzy on arrival at his Fanling office, was confirmed dead after being taken to North District Hospital. Five people injured as bus and car collide Five people were injured when a bus rammed a car at the toll plaza at the Aberdeen end of the Aberdeen Tunnel at midnight. The car stopped after the driver mistakenly drove through the auto-toll gate. The bus that was following was unable to stop in time. The injured were taken to the Ruttonjee Hospital. Fire damages vehicles Six vehicles in a Sai Kung car park were damaged when the battery of one sparked a fire that spread to the other cars. The fire broke out at 6.30am in an outdoor car park. Five cars and a goods van were burnt. Police said the fire was not suspicious.
