FRENCH FLAVOUR

French diva Patricia Kaas will take centre stage at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium today at 8pm.

Kaas, 37, was born in Lorraine, France, and began singing when she was eight years old. At 21, she was named Female Newcomer of the Year in France.

Kaas has acted as an ambassador of French pop music for more than 15 years. Her music combines blues and rock and is well-known for its variety. She has sold around 15 million albums and performed some 1,000 concerts in more than 30 countries over the past 15 years.

The concert is part of Le French May. Tickets at $350 and $250 are available from Urbtix on 2734 9009.
