Men's magazine Maxim celebrated its first anniversary with an awards night at Hei Hei Club in Central recently. The party started with veteran comic Jim Chim Shui-man giving a stand-up performance. Dressed in gold and accessories that made him look 'devilish', Chim put people in the mood before introducing the night's presenter, film star Josie Ho Chiu-yee. Four awards were presented: actor/director Stephen Fung Tak-lun, for best talent; model Carl Ng Ka-lung, for best style; comedian Ronald Cheng Chung-kei, for best entertainer; and Anthony Wong Chau-sang, for best adventurer. Wong looked eye-catching in his sunglasses and flower-pattern agnes b. jacket. The party moved into full swing after the presentations, with guests enjoying canapes and sipping pink or blue-coloured cocktails made with vodka.
