FORMER Legislative Councillor Ho Sai-chu and his wife have not taken the stand to defend themselves against a charge of conspiracy to defraud. Their counsel, Charles Ching QC, yesterday informed Judge Moylan in the District Court that he was not calling any evidence. Prosecutor Max Daley made final submissions on the case. Mr Ching is expected to reply today, when the judge will decide if the couple are guilty of the joint charge. Ho, 54, and Ko Tze-ha, 47, face a charge of conspiracy to defraud Tin Tin Yat Pao (International) Ltd between January 1987 and June 1990.
