Designed for medium to large work groups, the new LaserJet 9040 printer from Hewlett-Packard delivers reliable, high-volume printing at an entry-level price. It has a 533MHz processor and offers 128MB of printer memory, expandable to 512MB. It prints crisp, high-quality black and white documents at a resolution of 1,200 dots per inch. It can print up to 40 pages per minute, and the first page is out in less than eight seconds. It offers large print volume, about a 300,000-page monthly duty cycle with two 500-sheet standard input trays (maximum to 3,100 sheets with an optional 2,000-sheet input tray).
