Donald Tsang Yam-kuen has been nominated as a typhoon name in a contest organised by the Observatory. But the Observatory will not reveal how many people want a Typhoon Donald, saying the issue is too sensitive. There are no such qualms about some nominees, however. Former chief executive Tung Chee-hwa's name was also put forward and received 218 nominations, the Observatory was happy to reveal when announcing the results yesterday. 'I cannot disclose the number of nominations Mr Tsang had, because it is now a very sensitive matter,' said a spokesman, who would not even confirm if Mr Tsang received more or fewer nominations than Mr Tung. Neither leader made the list of winning names.
