Fendi's private screening of Eros attracted some of the hottest names from showbiz.
Guests, fans and paparazzi packed the lobby of UA Cinemas to celebrate with Taiwanese actor Chang Chen and internationally acclaimed director, Wong Kar-wai.
The movie, which consists of three short films - one each from directors Wong, Steven Soderbergh and Michelangelo Antonioni, centres on erotic love. The excited chatter of guests, eager to watch Wong's much-awaited contribution, The Hand, filled the air.
Chang, clad in a Fendi suit, was given a pair of white boxing gloves - symbolising a knockout at Cannes - as a gift from Wong.
The surprised actor drew applause as he put on the signed gloves and posed for the cameras.
About 9.30pm, guests filed into the Esquire theatre hall and Wong was seen wearing his signature sunglasses into the dark room. Guests included Amanda Strang, Vanessa Yeung Jing, Lau Siu-ming, Brenda and Kai-bong Chau, Yolanda Choy, Karena Lam Ka-yan, Janet Ma Si-Wai, Eunice Lam Yin-nei, Barney Cheng Siu-leng, Shirley Hiranand and Reyna Harilela.
