A consultation day organised by Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will give prospective students the opportunity to learn in-depth information about full-time degree and sub-degree programmes offered by the tertiary institution. The event, which is aimed at Joint University Programmes Admission Scheme (JUPAS) applicants, will be held tomorrow at the PolyU campus in Hunghom. The consultation day will also help the candidates to finalise their choices before the JUPAS deadline next Tuesday. This year, PolyU's Hong Kong Community College will also provide information on its associate degree programmes. Interested candidates can get information on the courses, admission requirements and career prospects through consultation sessions, seminars, presentations and guided tours. They can also seek advice from PolyU's academic staff and students. In the new academic year, PolyU will offer 42 full-time degree and 26 sub-degree programmes. It offers undergraduate programmes in design, engineering physics, fashion and textile studies, geomatics, international shipping and transport logistics, medical laboratory science, occupational therapy, optometry, physiotherapy, as well as radiography. The consultation day will run from 1pm to 6pm. It will be postponed to June 4 in case of bad weather. Visit www.polyu.edu.hk/as/conday/ for details.
