One of the world's leading marketing information companies is looking to hire two Web programmers and one Web designer. Describing itself as the sixth sense of business, TNS has more than 230 offices in 70 countries and 14,000 full-time employees. The programmers and designer will join a team responsible for TNS HK and Asia-Pacific Access Panels, all of TNS Hong Kong's Web portals and sites, as well as TNS Info. Technology-driven market research is new to Hong Kong and elsewhere in Asia. 'We expect them to work on a lot of Web-based projects, including our TNS Access Panel, which is the only managed online consumer access panel in Hong Kong, and TNS Info, which allows clients to store and organise all their marketing information in one place on the internet,' said Lao Choi-I, human resources manager at TNS. 'So far, we have developed TNS Info for a substantial number of multinational corporations, and TNS Access Panels in Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand and Taiwan, with imminent plans to launch panels in Singapore, China and Japan.' The Web programmers will perform all the back-end programming, while front-end support will be the name of the game for the designer. 'We are always looking for people who are bold, creative and use their own intelligence - and who would like to develop their careers at TNS,' Ms Lao said.
