Sen-ryo, a Japanese 'conveyer belt' sushi restaurant opened recently in Central. If the concept seems familiar, it's because this restaurant belongs to the group that runs Genki Sushi, which has its conveyer belt restaurants at many locations in Hong Kong. Tucked away in the corner of IFC Mall, the small (1,200 square feet) Sen-ryo is more high-end than Genki Sushi, although prices are still reasonable. The dishes, which are made-to-order during off-peak times, include koreanfu tuna ($55), salmon and ikura maki ($28), yofu hotate sushi (bottom right; $28), zuke maguro sushi (below right; $18) and nama spring roll (below left; $28).

Sen-ryo is at shop 3099, Podium Level 3, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7633.
